What type of clown do you have?
Also be careful with carpets, they have been known to eat clownfish.

I thought that carpet anemones only ate fish that were not clownfish. I'm guessing, you could feed the carpet anemone about once per week. If it doesn't take in the food, then it isn't hungry.

Carpets are very aggressive. If any of your fish happen to land on it....they will be a snack. I know people that feed them silver sides about every 3 to 5 days or so. I have a small BTA that gets 1/2 siverside every 3 days and it's been doing well.

Don't be surprised if you come home and notice fish missing.

It might be a good idea to ensure that yellow is a natural color for your anemone. There are some anemones that are dyed that require special care because the dye can affect their ability to host zooxanthellae and photosynthesize so you may need to feed it more at first to have better chances of it surviving. Maybe it's a non-issue for your type but I would at least look into it to be sure.

I'm sorry to say that your anemone is bleached. What kind of lighting is it under at the moment.
