    Yes carpet surfing. My firefish decided to try it and was successful. The funny side to an otherwise sad thread is that my husky was nice enough to pick it up, bring it in the living room, put it at my feet then bump me with her nose to show me what she brought. Despite the huskies cool, calm thinking a quick rush to the tank was met with ill results.

    RIP little buddy we'll miss you.

    Sorry to hear, I feel your pain. Had jumpers before i decided to make the DIY BRS 1/4 mesh top and I love it & have no more worries. Why not make one, they're cheap & easy to build and fit super nicely. Here's the vid on how & if you need any info just PM me, I got my materials from Home Depot really cheap & just got the mesh via BRS:

    IF you don't have a lid, I highly recommend adding one.
