I was going with the Tahiti moon sand but then I found out that the sand catches on the magnetic glass cleaner thingie so I had them order this. It was a little pricey but I like the look of it. Bed thing is I think it may be too big for the goby, we will see.

Lights- I went with AquaticLife 4x39. I love the look of them, everything is on timers, and very quiet.

Equipment- Right now I just have a powerhead and power filter. I havent decided if I want to do a sump/fuge or not. I am creating a lot of "pods" by having the algae crate in my DT. As for a skimmer- I am still looking as I want a HOB now but if I go with a sump I don't want to have to buy a new one.

Stocking plans- Don't laugh, I started the tank mostly wanting inverts and clams. I really want scallops but I have read that they are really difficult. The crabs and shrimps that I have now are the most interesting things I have ever seen! Both my cleaners chase my pistol around trying to clean it (or eat it).

I will get into coral but I still have a lot more reading to do before I start buying them. I am a fan of the leathers, xenias, and zoanthids

you are off to a great start, there is this thing about breeders that i love, so much surface area. That sand and the tinted back gives it a very unique look. Great job!

k+ and keep the pics rolling.
