Thanks for the help, it looks like I have some reading to do. Thats what I get for getting something that looks pretty prior to research. :-/

 

Great start. I really enjoy seeing 40 breeder builds. Perhaps someday I will have one of my own.

Well, my tang did not make it. Now I am trying to save the clowns

I now have the clowns in the QT. I used Rid Ich hoping to fix whatever problem is going on. My clowns now have some "skin" coming off of them. Ahhhhhh!

 

Well, my last clown has died at lunch. So in 24hrs I lost my tang and 2 clowns.

What do I do now going forward in my DT. Should I let it sit for a few months before I put a new fish in it so the ich and velvet die off? I have corals, inverts, and a goby left. Do I continue with my normal 5ga water changes every week now that I basically have no bio load?

This sucks!!!

Im curious since you live 40 mins from me where do you shop locally for you live stock?

 

There is a great place called Healthy Pet Center in Troy/North Green Bush, NY.

They have great prices, great selection on EVERYTHING. In fact, everything I have for my tank (including my tank) I buy from them. I only shop local.

IMO and most around here, it is the only place to shop. Some other o.k. places are Eddies in Lathem, NY and Union Aquarium in Schenectady.
