Cat sharks

How would the blue spotted sting ray work out in a 75 gallon tank or is that also to small?

 

There just aren't any options as far as sharks go for the average joe. The snowflake will definitely be fine in your tank though and will give a good show attacking and eating it's food. If you do two be sure to introduce them both at the same time. Look into trigger fish. They would be a great predator to house with your eels.

 

At first I wanted to set up a 55 with a Niger Trigger, a volitan lionfish, and the eels.

 

What kind of filtration are you planning on? with a 75 you would need every inch of it to be sand bed for rays. This would rule out a snowflake and you will also have to put your filtration somewhere else without the live rock in your DT.

 

I didnt want to put the snowflake with the ray. I wanted either a species tank or possibly with a puffer. Then a complete sand bed. Either wet/dry or a bio/power filter.

 

I think it would be doable but just barely. I would advise a refugium to house some live rock and an overkill skimmer.

I wouldn't do more than two. One just wouldn't be cool otherwise I would recommend one lol.

 

oo ok....and should it be able to go with the puffer and or a yellow tang
