    I'm not allowed any more hobbies, just ask my wife....


    Mirandacollc, I'm using a canon d20 dslr with both a 10mm wide angel and a 60mm macro lens to take the shots. Some with natural light and some with a flash.

    Someday i'll get the light box out/umbrella out and take some from above the tank with all the pumps off to see what kind of results I can get..

    Well I look forward to seeing them. I am waiting on film that a friend of mine and I had used to see in my tank. We atr trying some things with the pics just to get some intristing pics. Photography is my second hobby although my wife is trying to get my into rc planes with our son. I like the phtoography and the fish tank the most haha. Pics look great though!

    Here is another shot I took recently with the moon lights on, usually it isn't that bright, but I had to turn them up to get a decent shot.

    Great tank and pics, looks like you really put some thought into this! No cats, 2 dogs, they both like to stare at the tank and bark when the foxface comes towards them (I don't know, some kind of dog logic??)

    Nice progress pictures!

    I was told that the darker the maroon the more healthier it is. I personally dont believe its true. I think its because its starting to mature and get its adult maroon color instead of its juvenile orange red.
