The T6 bulbs are supposed to fit in as a direct replacement for a fixture that uses T8 or T12 bulbs and they are supposed to have 10 to 40 percent more output than a T8 bulb. And they can utilize a T8 or T5 Electronic ballast.... Now how do they stack up against a T5? I have no idea and have not seen any data yet on them. I think the reason they came out with this style bulb was to make it easier to retrofit fixtures in a plant without having to buy the complete T5 HO setup.

Not bad for the price! Wonder what people that have them think? Weary of products that many people have never heard of!

My thought's too! I have emailed them twice and both times they replied in the same day and they even sent me their telephone #. Makes me think they are reputable but who knows.

I have their 48" PC 260 watt system for my 72 gallon bowfront. The company is very customer oriented and I love it for PC lighting --- now that they just came out with the metal halides at the great price I WOULD HAVE JUMPED ON THOSE instead just to pump up the wattage. However I have been very pleased with them -- they also have a great price on bulbs. Don't let them scare you away from them. I have no problems telling someone if a place sucks or I really like them ---
    the corallife timers -- suck
    Catfish Lighting -- really like
