Cats and Fish Tanks?

    We started with a 40 gallon tank and then to a 70 gallon. Never had a lick of trouble with our cats and at one point we had 4. I can see where a small tank could be a problem.

    I have four cats. Sometimes they watch and I have never seen any of them try to get in. If your tank is high make sure you have no surrounding furniture for them to leap onto the tank from it, I use egg crate as a deterant.

    I have a chocolate bi-color ragdoll cat. She never even looks in the tankand prissily walks past it! ;)

    I have a 26 gallon, but our cat could care less...unless I'm feeding the fish. He seems to like the smell of fish food.

    My cat has 0 interest in my tank. I don't even think he knows its there.

    My 4 cats all have jumped up on the table my 5 gal fresh pond WITH LID and stuffed their faces on the glass and sat there for hours. One would be on the table why 3 were on the floor sleeping waiting for their turn lol
