When you post a help thread you need to post your actual parameter numbers not it is OK or inline. What you feel is OK may in fact be the issue. You need to have your Ca above 380 and the alk above 7 dKH at all times for SPS coral. The more steady the number the better the coral will do. Knowing your nitrate and phosphate numbers will also help us diagnose the issue. Your specific gravity and temperature are also needed to help us help you.

You can get tincture of iodine at a drug store. Put 15 to 20 drops in a quart of tank water and dip the coral in it for 10 minutes, then rinse the coral in another quart of tank water before returning it to the tank.

You will want a pair of bone cutters or side cutters. Just snip off the bad sections a little way into the good section.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Unfortunately when you venture into sps corals, it is best to do all your own test/parameters. They require a lot more attention to detail and trends in parameters. What type of test kit are you using? And are you using any type of supplements or dosing products?
