    You don't *need* yo add a Goby and if you don't mind the occasional rock shift and don't want any ornamental shrimp(depending on the Pistol it seems) you can just keep it. I got rid of mine mainly because I went bare bottom.

    Don't you have a fuge you can stick him in? He's so cool. I have a few misfit crabs in my fuge and it's in front of my sump so that is my sons favorite part of my reef tank. He loves watching the "banished" crabs.

    Now that you mention it, why didn't I think of that?? I don't have a fuge but maybe the my wet/dry sump will work? I'll just put a filter sock on the sump bulkhead so he doesn't get sucked in. Thanks for the input!

    Teddy Bear Crabs aren't reef safe. They aren't terribly destructive, but they can prey on small hermits, snails, and sleeping fish (rarely corals but it does happen).
