Not many post are of enough value or concern to pull me from my non posting mode But every now and then I see one LOL I do recall all the experts trying to out expert one another LOL egos where flying ... And the funny part is at the end of the day they all just faded away and left some bad memories to those who took some expert advice :)

I have used several types of caulerpa's for close to 30 yrs now with never a
issue of any type in my refugiums or tanks ..But never the C.taxifolia mainly C. sertularioides and C. bikinensis

Did I just date me again just call me Dusty ??? Hows it going Mr Curt , well I hope se'ya in the funny papers

just a note on "caulerpa taxifolia"

    - there is a variation that is taking over and causing so much trouble, there is also "regular" caulerpa taxifolia which is not a menace. Also I have never once seen it correctly identified in the hobby. Caulerpa taxifolia should look exactly like caulerpa mexicana except that the fronds taper towards the bottom of the midrib, and on adult plant the midrub is somewhat exposed near the runner. that is all, i just felt like throwing that out there.
