    Hello everybody!!

Maybe im worried for no reason but....

My coral beauty is swimming like a goldfish! He's still eating fine and still being very active, bu tim sure before hand when he swam he glided through the water. Now he is swimming literally like a goldfish shaking his head the opposite direction of his tail very exaggerated like a goldfish.

Any ideas or am i worried for no reason?

I think after a while it cripples the fish and there isnt any cure, but wait for the TAng or someone else to confirm :-/

Difficult to say really, I would get some vitamins (like Kent or Grotech) and soak the food in it and see if that helps. I've used it myself when my tangs where not so great and it worked really well.

If its swim bladder gas you can pop it with a needle to release the gas . Do you feed pellets ?

    Hey Tang

I guess i do. Brine shrimp in the eveing and dry pellets in the morning. I believe fish coming up to eat the pellets then swallowing air causes this!
Well i dont want to attempt stabbing my fish so i'll ask if my lfs will do it

    Thanks :)

Probably totally unrelated, but my CB periodically goes completely nuts.

Racing back and forth across tank swimming sideways, fins fully expanded and colors all flashing and bright.

    Very unlike normal swimming habits.

Actually goes on for quite a while. :-/

Have no idea what sets her off...but see every couple of weeks or so.

May just be showing who is boss fish of tank...notice all the fish laying low when this is going on.
