Well, the coral beauty that was doing really good completely went down hill and died while we were sleeping. Poor thing. I think she was just so beat up that perhaps she got secondary infections and fought as hard as she could.

My son on the other hand.. (he is 3 mind you) was excited and yelled he wanted to flush the fishie to be with the other fishes!!! he lost a betta last week in his little tank.

As sad as I am it is probably better for the poor fish. THANK YOU to everyone who gave advice and cheered me on when I took on this fish.

    Sorry to hear this Tammy.

I guess all pipes lead to the ocean.

Yeah my son thinks there is some pipe that leads to a big bowl of fish. LOL to be so young again...

Thank you again everyone.Seems a little odd not seeing that thing swimming like a bat out of H..E... Double hockey sticks. To be honest I think my dottyback is causing some of the grief in my tank. He tormented my sleeper goby about 2 weeks ago I found him dead. I had my water checked at the LFS to make sure my test kits were correct. I was thinking maybe my tank was off. Heath (fish store guy) had the same results.. The only thing he said was my salinity was just slightly high, probably due to evaporation. Added H2O and salinity is where it should be.

My next goal is to catch that dottyback and give him away. You watch this fish will live 40 years.. ugh

There's a thread not to far down about a dottyback from you-know-where!
