I lost my CB in the move. She never really came around. Since she was sickly, she was always hiding. Well, I worried that all CB were shy.

So I got another one because they are so good looking. I think the one I got was on crack. Did laps constantly. Never stopped. Always active. She calmed down, but I just redid my rock work, and the new Anthias must be her new connect, because she is back on crack. :)

LOL that is funny. Now that I have 3 CB in the tank, they are much more active. I think they are establishing who is the dominant one. I don't think anyone has become the male CB as of yet. They are all the same size right now.

The Coral beauty is born a female and will turn male when with another CB or group of them. The dominant CB will turn male and the second dominant will be the Alpha female. Should the male die, the Alpha female will change to a male.

I'm one of the people who over research things... LOL I have learned though to research, then purchase... Especially in this hobby.

I was just reading up on dwarfs this AM and read the same thing about the CB. Seems non differentiated and hermaphroditic fish are somewhat less rare than I would have thought before getting into this.

They run the tank!!! LOL that dottyback has been put in it's place... FINALLY... It is fun watching them swim in and out of the rocks. I'll have to get some pics of my tank set up. I have many flat rocks that are held up with other rocks for platforms for frags and such. I left the bottom open as much as possible without being dangerous for the fish. The CB think it is their apartment complex.
