Just thought i would ask before i went ahead and bought the new fish. I currently have the following :

    (1) Dwarf Flame Angel
    (1) Small CBB
    (2) Small Clownfish
    (2) yellowtail damsels
    (1) Three dotted damsel
    (3) Chromis ( i want to get rid of )

Can i add a hippo tang and yellow tang to the tank 2 weeks apart from each other. Or will the hippo tang and yellow tang be aggressive towards the fish i already have.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You need to post the size of your tank.

Of the fish listed I would take back the spotted damsel over a chromis.

+1 no one can answer unless we know the size. if you are planning to keep 2 tangs though you must have a pretty big system.

From another of the OPs post they built a canopy for their 72g bowfront. I will assume this is the size of your tank because id didnt see mention in any other posts something different.

If this is the case the Blue Hippo Tang is a no. I personally would say the tank is allowable size for a yellow tang, but you also have 10 fish in there already, although most are small. So depending on your amount of filtration to keep up with that bioload.

I want to keep my CBB, Flame angel and clownfish, my others I am willing to get rid of for better fish. i have a 72 gallon bow front. If its a no to the hippo whats a good addition to this tank. Just seems like my tank is empty.

Look at wrasses, they can add some color and livliness to your tank,
