When my Motarola V330 died. I freaked out. I asked my service provider about the best phone. Most durable, Best range. I didn't care about it being a camera or a MP3 player.

He told me the Razor V3 and he was right. It rocks

I'm pretty hard on phones. In the last 2 years I have completely destoyed 7. I've got to say that the motorola v262 I have now is holding up better than any phone I have ever had. Not saying its the best but its pretty good none the less.

Nokia 6255 is probably the best. My real Job (as my wife calls it) is a surveillance tech with a cellular company and our repair teams get the most compliments and least trouble reports on this phone

I have a LG VX5200 and I love it. I have drop this phone so many times and it still works. My boys 1 and 2 years old got to it a few time and servived being thrown, they put it in their mouth and the phone still work with all that baby slobber on it, and don't forget the tug-a-war. The battery last for a long time without being charged for a few days and thats with a lot of phone use.

I agree with ReefLover on the LG phones. My wife and daughter both have LG VX6100s and love them. Good battery life, clean sound, and (at least with Verizon) great coverage. I have a 2 yr old Samsung PM-8200 that has hit the pavement more times than I can remember and it is still going strong.

As far as the Moto SLVR, I have 2 friends who have them and have the same complaint. The sound from the built in speaker is terrible! They both bought handsfree sets for them to get decent sound.
