    Sorry for the late feedback, and yes t5's. My computer crashed yestarday :(. Thanks again and i think im going to go with a leather toadstool

    Are you sure they are t5s and not t8 bulbs? I cannot find a single thing on t5 bulbs that match what you say you have. I think you should take the bulbs out and double check that they are t5 and not t8. Where I work, there are a large number of people that don't actually know the difference between t5 and t8 bulbs.

    I finally have an answer

    UGH! well I couldnt find out what lights I had, so i took out a blub and brought it to my LFS, apparently i have 2 20w coralife 50/50 compact flourescent blubs. I also have downgraded to a 15 gallon..hows this?
