    I ordered the diamond and cerium powder and a felt buffing pad for a drill. I'll try a small spot on the side to see if it works before I go to the front.

    A drill might not move fast enough. See if you can rent a true high speed buffer. I'd try anything at this point because the film algae in those scratches will drive you nuts.
