Chaeto growing!!!

I just want to take a minute and thank everyone for the help that is given out on this forum. Finally, the chaeto in my sump has started growing and has doubled in size. Sounds like a silly thing, but it has been 1-1/2 years just sitting down there doing nothing'. All the "little" hints and helps have worked. ya'll are the greatest.

 

before you know it, you'll be bringing bales of it to the lfs!!!!! It's nice to see it finally kick in isn't it! shweeeeet!!

i have ahd mine for a few weeks and it is out of control

 

what kind of lighting did you have your chateo under when it wasn't growing? I have to cut my chateo back every month. I'm glad it's finally workin' for ya!

 

It was the mini compact fluorescent 50/50. Got from LFS. Switched to GE energy smart daylight 6500K. Have to say I also put the bulb closer to the fuge. The combination was the trick. ;D
