    Guess nobody really knows...

    To be on the safe side, you could get a thin sheet of dark plastic (aquarium backing, perhaps?) and place it over one of your baffles to block the light. FYI, if you're planning on farming pods, the UV will definitely be harmful to them.

    so true i didn't think of the pod factor, and thats one of the reasons for a refugium
