    OK,
So I have been struggling with the params for a bit now. Tried everything to no eval.

While at the LFS, they had some Chaetomorpha Algae hanging in a Net Specimen cup. So i decided to give it a shot. I bought a handful and hung it in my net specimen cup and hung it under a water flow area.

Not pretty to look at, but after a week, My Nitrates went from 50 down to 2 Yipi ...

So for those that dont have a sump / Fuge and dont want to throw this stuff in the main tank, I just say give it a shot, it worked for me.

One problem though, I cant keep Hermi, (My Largest Crab) out of the Chaeto net...

No movement on my P4 yet though, well see if that will go down as well.

    \Cheers

Well its been 50 or higher for 2 months now.
One week after adding the Chaeto, it went down. I did nothing else.

They love those nets! Your problem may be that you have bad testing strips, or that nitrate has continually gone up, and the macros haven't been able to keep up.
