Chalice and macro algae growth pics

    A healthy and growing coral is always very rewarding and in this case I'm particularly pleased with my watermellon chalice. I looked at it the other day and noticed 5 new eyes on it. I got it at the beginning of the summer. Here are some pics:

    I also have this red macro algae that popped up the first of Oct. and has taken off like a weed, sebdenia flabelatta according to John. Unfortunately John at Reefcleaners says it's very very hard to get it to take hold again if you cut it off so no propagating this one. Oh, and this growth pic is only half of the size that is was before I cut it back.

    Yeah, that's what I thought at first too. Now it's just a pain bc it's growing so fast and starting to blow into other corals.
