Yes, they are actually fury, but can look fuzzy. There are several types of sponges, I have a purple encrusting on my bubble, but also have lots of pineapple sponges. Does it look like it has a siphon of some sorts?

It's not coraline because it's fuzzy and growing up into the water. Maybe sponge...I dunno...I have a lot of sponges but none look like this.

It looks like this, but coming from one stock. And it's dark purple with a green base.

:laughcry: This is awesome and hilarious... I hope you can post a better pic so someone can figure this thing out. Sometimes it helps to focus the camera, then lock the focus and actually move the camera forward and back until it looks in focus. (auto-focus does not work well on aquariums, as it tends to reflect off of the front glass).

Just a guess, but could it be a christmas tree worm: http://www.ryanphotographic.com/images/JPEGS/Blue Christmas Tree Worm.jpg ?

LOL I had to find something that it looks like!! Haha

No, it's not a Christmas tree worm - though that would be awesome!! Those are so cool looking.

I don't know how to work my camera at all. I'll look into that auto focus thing you speak of, lol.
