Chamber-less BioCube 14 Mods?

    Anyone have ideas for what to do with a chamber-less BioCube 14, as far as filtration? I already drilled the tank for an overflow, but it cracked slightly. I siliconed a piece of acrylic to seal it, so that problem it taken care of. The problem now is that I removed the chambers, so I have no mechanical filtration.

    I could use an HOB filter as a refugium, but I still wouldn't have a protein skimmer. I don't want to do an HOB protein skimmer because that's just unattractive. Any options? Should I try drilling again, or what?

    Also, can I take the top trim off and make it rimless, or is it pretty much on there?

    Figured it out. No skimmer, just an HOB filter.
