love this fish, he is slowly but surely getting to adult size. if i may, its a fish i strongly would NOT recommend for various reasons, especially the fact it deals with stress and transport terribly and because of this can be a very picky eater. so if he doesn't die from stress he slowly dies from starvation due to stress. they are also considered not reef safe as they can nibble on clam mantels and smaller anemones.

it can be used to control apitasia but i can tell you mine could not care less about the few glass anemones i have here and there around my tank (kind of annoying)

it seems mine has acclimated nicely and is a happy go camper.

for those interested, i was able to lure him onto the fish food i make by offering him opened clams and mussels first and then including those ingredients in the rest of my fish food recipe.

Looks good swiss, nice and happy. Its one fish I've always wanted but will never try. Same as a moorish idol, just can't do it. Some of the most amazing fish.

Swiss please keep us updated on its progress. I agree .I love these fish but find them hard to recommend and certainly don't see them as a viable option for Aptasia anemone's alone. Most reef animals are commensal.Until we understand the relationships with the animals they live with/feed on we are really just shooting in the dark hoping to hit something. Most of what we know comes from aquarist. My Kingdom for a laboratory.;D

+1^^^ I had one for a about a month and it ate everything - it got stuck in some rock crevices and perished. I really liked him but am hesitant to try another one plus I'm pretty much fully stocked at this point.
