2 AI Sols are definitely your best choice however they will produce more than enough for that little tank. The rail system will not really work right on that tank though. You would want the modules running parallel to the tank due to your tank dimensions. I'm pretty sure the rail system is designed to mount them perpendicular to the tank. It should be easy though to rig something up.

It is true the sit perpendicular on the rail, but I have no complaints on mine. There is very little light overspill and the whole tank is nicely lit at 11" off the water.

As for the data cables, they are included.

haha getting mixed answers on the data cables to connect the two fixtures together. I know that if you get the railing kits you get the cables as well. But I am not sure if they are included if you buy the fixtures separately.

If not, they are the exact same cable you use to hook up an ipod (or any mp3 player) in a car.. they are like 10 bucks. You can get it at lowes for super cheap.

Yeah not too worried about it but I would like to know so I don't end up running around looking for cables. Does the controller come with the cable? lol why don't they include cables?! at least one would do if you get them seperately

all my friends have AI and i have mine on order also. everything comes in the box to connect multiple modules to each other. the controller also comes with cable to connect with the modules. only extra to purchase is the grip lock hanging kit and the rail and you'll be set.
