What is the best way to raise DKH? I have been doing 25% water changes every week.....

I have the API DKH test. If you are familiar with it, you add drops to the test tube until the solution turns from blue to yellow. It turned to a very mellow yellow at 9 drops and a 10th turned it to solid yellow, so Im guessing Im right on the edge of 9/10 DKH.

What would be the ideal DKH?

My xenia always came and went for inexplicable reasons.

Always thought it was either winning or loosing war with Kenya Trees, of which I know of no other corals that it will not get along with...

But could be ebb and flow of DKH like Tangster says above...

Go the DKH route if you don't have any Kenya Trees to worry about in tank.

My dKH is at 9.8. My Xenia is not looking so good. I am going to try to increase it to 11 and see what happens. I hear that is the thing to do. Just got the stuff to do it with today, so I am anxious to try.

i like kent dkh/buffer works great mix a teaspoon in a class of or water disolve in but in tank or sump this much is for 30g water so you may need less or more for your tank. also all soft corals love iodine or iodide but dont over do it. I take the rec. amount and cut in half for your tank. had the same prob wihth silver xzenia, the solution for the issue came from leroy @ garf.org great site for hard to find answers, good luck.
