Change Reflector in Nova Extreme

I have a 4 bulb T5 Current Nova Extreme that I purchased off Craigslist. It is the old style with the single flat reflector. I had immediately switched out the bulbs. Is it possible to stick in the individual reflectors from the new style unit? I would think I should be able to order them from Current.

Has anyone here tried that?

Don't know, give current a call. You may have a size issue with the width of the reflector I am thinking. Look up your current unit and then look up the extreme pro and see what the width difference is for each unit.

 

If there is enough room behind the bulbs you could just go with clip on reflectors, the ones from hellolights are pretty small.

 

Thanks silverwolf72. I took a look at their site and found this. It is 2" wide. So I just need to see if it may fit. And if close, buy one to try.

 

For my retro I use 2 hellolights, 2 ATI, and 2 sunlight supply. out of the 3 the hellolight ones still look band new after 3 years, the ATI has some spots from salt spray and the SLS are the in the worse shape.
