ok after 1 year this pretty yellow anemone (pic 1) turned into this (pic 2). why? to much light? not enough light? and i think its eating my fish. it is very very very very sticky. i also have a lta that i kid you not is now about 1 foot in dia. i get all this pretty colered stuff in the tank and it all changes to a flor green. my yellow pagoda turned green and has tons more polyp doubled in size. i know its the zoozanthella but does that mean too much light? i have 4 35 watt actinic 06 compacts and 2 10000k compacts.

The anemone in the "after" pics look to be healthy to me. The anemone looks bleached in the first picture but it looks fine now so I'm going to say that it has just enough light. I've never seen a yellow carpet anemone either so my guess is that it was not feeling too good when you first got it. Do you happen to have an "after" pic of the pagoda.

I agree the carpet anemone in the middle picture looks like a Healthy anemone.
You have taken care of it well. :)

To be honest with you, I think you purchased a dyed anemone. That used to be popular a while back until the corals and anemones started dieing early. I think yours was well cared for and survived.

I was thinking dyed too but wasn't sure if "they" were able to do that to anemones. Damn shame :(

    I agree.

I was at one of my LFS's one day when he got his shipment in. He got several dyed corals and several dyed anemone's. He immediately got on the phone and told his supplier that if he ever received anymore dyed animals, he would never re-order from them again.
