changing at the midia

    hello everyone i have a 30g breeder tank going to be a reef tank. has been set up for about 3 weeks no fish in it let and I'm getting my light in two weeks.

    i was told to changed my bio media. now i have bio media in there now but i do not know what kind and can check when i get home.

    i have the live rock in there now and idk if i need to change my bio media and if i do when should i changed it and what kind should i get.

    What is the media you want to change? Bio balls or another type like carbon or phosban, for example?

    Please, specify this so you can receive correct advice.
