My bandw ocell clown is currently hosting my rbta and my naked clown is hosting my clam (lol) I want them to pair up and both live in the rbta, but im worried they wont even see each other. The naked clown is young and small and the bandw is large and female. Will they still pair and move into the rbta? Im worried the clam will close with the naked clown in it,

The naked clown stays in the c orner for most of the time and the bandw lets him touch the rbta and even get in it sometimes but sometimes she nips him and he goes back to his corner is this normal?

its all depends on alot of things suck as: how new the fish are to the tank, how young they are, whos in the tank, what areas are established by other tankmates... the list goes on. So yes its normal, even if they don't pair and/or host. Clowns don't need to host anything and same goes for Anemones, they don't need clowns to host them to survive.
