Hey guys I've decided to switch out my incredibly noisy aqueon circulation pump which is about 500 gph for some much quiter hydor koralia nano's......I know enough to know that more circlation is always better my only concern is that the circulation with two 425 nanos may be to much circulation kicking up alot of my sand, and some of my corals like a little bit of a calmer current....Do you think if I mess around with them enough I can get a good current with 2x 425s in a 20H Gallon without disturbing some of my specimens and creating a sandstorm, or do u think I would be better off just getting 1x 425 and one 240 nano???

I have two K1s (400gph) in my 20g high, and the GSP and Zoas/Palys absolutely LOVE it. I have them about two inches below the water's surface, pointed at each other (one on each end, centered on the side wall- front to back) and also pointed just slightly upward. No sand movement at all.

I have two 425s and one 240 in my 26 gallon (21'' tall) and I have no issues with sand movement at all. One of my 425s is even in the bottom third of my tank providing flow behind my rockwork all is fine.

Its all about finding the perfect placement for your tank. I had to mess with mine a bit until it provided the best current for everyone.

I have x2 Koralia 425 in my 20H and everything is doing great(Zoas, GSP, Ricordea, Kenya tree). I even added a rio 400. The clowns love it, they keep swimming against the current. =]

sounds good, ended up getting 2x 425's online from a forum sponser...this combined with my hob and maxi jet will have my turnover at 61.5 so that seems pretty good.....may end up needing a small little powerhead to run behind my rocks in the back like you guys
