LFS called me yesterday to say it got one of my fish in! just not the one I asked for first.
I was thinking I'd like to get 3 of these, but apparently the chances of that happening are not in my favour anyway, so one will have to do! ;D

Managed to get that pic just before lights out.

I got him an awesome friend as well, but apparently my rockwork has even more little hidey holes than I knew about and I have no idea where he's gone :-/
Think I will let them both rest and settle in for now and hopefully they will come out for some breakfast before work tomorrow.

    Wish them both luck!

Oh, have also added a cowrie snail and scolly that didnt look very happy in my nano, a bunch of baby turbos from my nano and a stromb/conch snail from the LFS. The cowrie is kinda cool so may post pics of him when theres a bit more light.

Both were quite happy to smash down some blood worms and looking healthy. Will hopefully show more interest in pellets soon.
Will try get some better pics tonight.
    Very excited about these guys!

(sorry, sometimes tapatalk will pick words for me!)

    Thanks.
Unfortunately I can't take any credit for the coralline yet, about 95% of the rock added has been bought as LR lol. Infact, alot of it was much more purple before it had to sit in a dark bucket for a month or 2. I'm hoping my lighting at the moment will be enough to string it along until I can put together some proper reef lighting.
There have been a few issues so far. The laboutei was showing signs of ich last night (Which I've read about but havent experienced before, 3reef was quick to help me out once again! Thanks!). Was panicking a little as I havent got a QT setup yet and didnt notice anything until just after all fish shops had shut. When I woke up this morning he was looking much better and most spots are all but gone anyway. I guess it was just a bit stressed being moved into a new environment. The Leopard wrasse hasnt shown any signs yet, but only likes to come out early in the mornings so is a bit harder to monitor, which is very inconvenient as I would like my lighting schedule to finish around 10pm. I also have no idea where he has found to sleep, so that doesnt help either. If he ever sleeps in I will be frantically searching overflows and floors.
Picked up some new pellet food to try help ward off the ich. The Leopard also wasnt showing much interest in any food this morning. The Laboutei ate, but wasnt very keen on the pellets I had. The new ones have worked out very well for him, especially with a little soak in the new garlic additive I also picked up today. Lets hope his green spotted friend is just as keen in the morning.

and now what you really want! a couple more pics...

The happy family pic (...that sliding door has to go!!!)

The bad news is that I probably wont be adding any more fish for about 6 weeks :(
Maybe that will give me time to buy a chiller and some low light corals

    Just to keep a record...
Got to play with my new hanna checker last night and tested po4 at 0.2, not perfect but alot better than I expected.
Added one vial of biodigest after testing.
Planning on eventually trying biopellets instead of using bioptim but may just see how the biodigest goes on its own for a couple weeks.
The Leopard wrasse still isnt very interested in food.
Has eaten 2 frozen blood worms in the last 3 days. Its still an improvement tho so hopefully he will get the idea soon.
We had a few people on the weekend and the Laboutei seems to have gotten ich again from all the excitement, it seems to be clearing up quite quickly tho.
I kind of think he could do better with some company in there to help distract him as the Leopard wrasse is almost always asleep.

The leopard wrasse is really pretty. Me want it. I got MicroBacter7 the other day, but I havent started yet. But the BioPellets are starting to take effect in my tank.

Is it really easy/reasonable to get stuff shipped to Australia or you get them all loaclly? I mean I see all the common stuff in the US in your pictures.

Nice looking tank. I LOVE rimless tanks. One question though, is that your return that is drilled in real low on the back of the tank? How does it not drain the whole tank into your sump when the return pump loses power?

Good news on your biopellets, hope they keep working out for you.
The leopard is pretty cool, when I get to see him. Its usually only for about 10 mins before work and on weekends lol.

We get most things ok over here. Distributers import just about all of the popular brands and its easy enough to buy it online or have my LFS get stuff in if its something they dont already stock. Sometimes it can still be cheaper to buy something from overseas (US/UK/Asia) and have it shipped directly, sometimes alot cheaper actually, but then warranty can be an issue.
BRS dont ship internationally so I ordered my reactors and screen netting while I was on holiday and had them sent to our hotel haha.
We can import wild caught fish from all over the world, but not allowed to import captive bred fish (go figure :/)
We can't get any imported corals at all, so all corals will be 'Aussie' ones. Aquacultured corals arent big over here either so most of them will be collected from the reef. I think theres some reason its hard to get get an aquaculture setup going here. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is or who/what it is that makes it so difficult but seems a bit silly. There seem to be a couple places around tho so hopefully they will do well and are able to expand.
