just because i have had this tank for a year does not mean im not still a newcomer right? i was wondering if there were some charts or something to show how well different fish get along together or just the aggression levels of different fish. i was also curious about what people think the best food is for fish... i have had this tank for a year and i have only ever used flake food, but now i think im ready for a little more complex fish and that means more complex food.

Honestly, we're all still learning. Information still changes as new studies are completed, technology to assist in fish/reef keeping is always advancing, and there's still a lot that has yet to be studied or tested. :)

    Here's a compatibility chart:

As for food, it's best to research the fish you plan to buy. Reputable dealers, such as LiveAquaria/Dr Foster & Smith, list each species dietary needs.
