Cheap but not too cheap

Hey just wondering what kind of skimmer you guys recommend. I have a 36 bow front(Fish only tank). I dont want to spend too much bit i dont want anything thats not worth buying.

 

do u have a sump?

 

i see from another thread that u do have or are going to have a sump. a lot of people dont like the seaclone but i have used one that worked great for me. the trick is it has to have the water level exactly the same all the time or it is impossible to get adjusted. but for the size tank u have i think everyone will agree that the aqua c remora or urchin is the best of the cheaper skimmers.

I have a seaclone on a 40 gallon stretch hex. I think it is great.

 

Try the new Coralife Skimmer the smaller one is rated to a 65g. It will run you around $89 mailorder. I owned a seaclone and can tell you you would be much happier with the Coralife. It is a needle wheel skimmer and a whole lot more consient than the seaclone for like $30 more.

Coralife Super Skimmer great skimmer for the money lots of good reviews on them apparently the 65 has a prob with leaking at the vavle (non issue for insump) but is easily fixed using a variety of easy mods
