    I am going with the 380watt odyssea metal halide combo unit. It seems very nice and well built and recently I have heard they have turned it around with there ballasts. Anyway in a few months I will replace all the bulbs so what should I get? I was thinking a 12k with super actinic powercompacts. Also are the moon lights any good? How fast is the shipping at aquatraders? I am really excited now!!;D;D;D

    Why would I be sorry? I heard that odyssea has turned it around and is making a comeback. Besides the fires and ballasts issues were from people trying stupid things like putting a higher wattage bulb in. Also does aquatic life make the best pc bulbs?

    I know some people with the odyssea MH fixtures who are really happy with them. Sure, they may not be the best fixture in the world but I don't think they are bad for the price especially if you put different bulbs in them.

    What company makes the best PC bulbs? Also what is the best metal halide bulb I can get? The PCs are straight pin.

    Your asking a question that can't be answered by anybody. Some manufacturers make better bulbs, but the "best" bulb is really subjective. It depends on what you want to grow, what light temperature you want and how much you want to spend.

    I got a deal on a cheap MH fixture.. I believe it is odyssea... I LOVE it... i have corallife pc actinics in it instead of the odyssea ones. It is straight pin. I got the fixture for nearly nothing in a big deal. The LED moonlights are awesome.. mine has 6 sets of two down the middle of the fixture.

    Does anyone have aquatraders phone number? They took $189 from my card and it says that it was declined. I need to get a hold of them right away because they have my money. Hopefully they aren't trying to scam me.

    In such instances, standard operating procedure might be to keep attempting to charge your card until they get their money. I've not dealt with Aquatraders, but I'd suspect that they're a legitimate company. In these matters, orders are just not sent out until payment is processed.

    Have you tried to contact them via the "contact us" link on their site?
