    His tank is going to cycle anyways, so that's not a concern. Not much will die off when live rock is shipped. There are SEVERAL pockets of water that remain within the rock (think of a tidal zone). One day shipping won't effect the "life" of it too much, imo.

    checked out the reef rocks site and its a hell of a deal get 50lbs of dry rock and 40lbs of sand for 100 really good deal

    I got my shipment from reef rocks and i am very impressed with it a huge diversity in size and quality of rock. Over all i give them a rating i was surprised with how great the rock looks
