Anybody have any experience with those really cheap MP3 players you can get on e-bay and flea markets?
Only reason I am asking is that I have HORRID luck with MP3 players. In the past 3 years, I have been through literally 13 I-PODS. I feel like I am putting $200-$300 dollars in a paper bag and burning it. If it's only going to last me 3 months anyways, figured I might try one of the cheapo's.

I use my blackberry as an mp3 player. Personally I don't like carrying a second device.

My buddy picked up a Sansa for like $40 and really likes it, though. Plays videos and everything.

I have a sansa, and I love it. Nice, cheap, and easy to use.

Hmm. I will have to study.
Not sure on the brands. I seen some on e-bay and they were 8G's delivered for $20 ;)
But, scrolling is not an option. I gotta be able to select/have a menu.
Main use is for background/rhythm while I play guitar. I am having a resurgence. Unfortunately my ex (to remain un-named but was a member here ;) ) made me practically quit playing guitar. The year and a half excursion has taken its toll and I need serious practice, specially since I am being asked to put together another band! An MP3 player is crucial to this.

Dammit. Not sure of the b-ball (exchange it for hockey, racing, or ...) but the video games sounds nice. DAM-IT! And judging by the pic, she's better looking than any sugar momma I could catch. OK, OP, you officially have me PO'd. I am now dwelling on the awfulness of past relationships, my failed life, and the disgrace of global society, all while in the corner in the fetal position. All because of you. I have officially boycotted you as a member. Enjoy your 3reef career packleaderless, which of course is sure to fail.

You can scroll with the more expensive sansa's, I have the 4mb clip, and it works well, but the ones with video and even bigger capacity are now around 40 dollars.
