    Check Craigslist. People are selling full tank setups for really, really cheap right now.

    Personally, I am building my stand and canopy. I paid $40 for the tank and maybe another $50 in supplies for the tank. Everything else I'll need is already installed on my 20 gallon (Overflow, sump, lighting, phosphate reactor etc.). I planned ahead.

    My additional cost will be in sand and dry rock.
