    Thanks for asking....300 miles south of Christchurch so OK, but we felt the tremors....our thoughts are with those suffering..

    Led photography

    The camera is a Canon EOS D60 with a Nikon Nikkor macro 105mm. I use the manual setting and try not to use too slow a shutter speed,although it's quite difficult with the low light levels and the strong current in the tank. I do improve the basic parameters through I-photo on my mac desktop...I am a professional cameraman, so I guess that helps, although the gear I use is pretty basic....

    Just loaded this on youtube...Nice relaxing compilation video with great Vangelis track from the movie Blade Runner....looks great on the ipod/iphone...check it out! (no more spawning observed in the tank as yet)

    New jewel rock

    Here's a shot of the latest Jewel Anemone rock gathered whilst diving recently....really beautiful colours. The rock weighs 5 kilograms/12 pounds, so was tricky to get ashore! It's doing really well with fully extended polyps that are actively feeding.
