    Quarantine etc

I've never needed to quarantine the Jewel Rocks...they go in the tank as collected...full of extra life that evolves in the tank. They are usually in the tank within an hour of being collected...no ph or salinity worries as the water is natural seawater from around the same reef....no Catalina Gobies down here in New Zealand I'm afraid!!

    That tank is awesome!

What kind of equipment goes into a tank like this? I'm assuming pretty much everything in there is NPS, right?

    tank equipment

A very high water flow needed for the jewels...they live in areas that are washed by the tidal race and feed on "marine snow". I have Vortechs and Tunze pumps at either end...I actually use Eheim closed-circuit filters to keep the water crystal clear... plus Red Sea Skimmer...no sump, or wet-dry....regular water changes too.
