The jewels have now consumed them all...bit of a treat for them...as they would get in the wild of course!!

    Cold marine new pics.

Interesting behaviour here, with a plumose anemone extending it's stinging tentacles to clear the area around itself....it has actually "killed" a few jewels doing this so I've moved it to a safer spot!
Also a green-striped cave prawn...loves the dark areas behind the rock wall....occasionally comes out to look for food in the lit areas...also a couple more jewel colour variations.

Article in this month's ULTRAMARINE mag.

I've just had an article published in the UK's ULTRAMARINE magazine on keeping a temperate marine tank....check it out if you live in the UK....not sure whether it's available in the States other than by subscription...lots of similar info on my 3reef threads though.....new pics coming soon as tides are really low at the moment and have been out collecting....

    New Corallimorphs just collected.

Out snorkelling today with beautiful winter conditions...first pic is the area I dive for the "jewels"...will give you some idea of how idyllic the area is....a couple of collection buckets, with a few new colour morphs....the tank is just about full now....the rock-wall is about as high as it can get without popping above the surface!
