    finally got some pics up. both tanks are around 3 gallons. sorry they are a bit dirty. in the first tank i have about 4 pairs in the second i have about 13 babies.
    last i have a picture of a male.

    Nice looking tanks but I'd check the pH frequently on the covered tank.
    It's almost impossible to get proper gas exchange at the surface when the top is covered so pH is often low.

    i no longer have the cover on the tank. the pic was taken right after the tank was set up and cycled. i am in the process of setting up a 10 gallon tank for 10 pairs. im afraid they will get lost tho.

    i plan to have that as my main seahorse tank and branch some tanks off and maybe sell a few. these things breed like rabbits.

    There is no problem putting 20 in a 5g tank.
    They still are lost in mine though.

    yeah i know. my old dwarf tank which was an 8 callon biocube i had 18 pairs in that tank and it still looked empty.

    i am setting up a 15 gallon sea hoers tank.

    they max out at around an inch tall, they are so tiny and the babies are only a couple millimeters tall. you almost never see them unless you really look. i would suggest not using more than a 5 gallon unless you plan on getting alot of them.

    Yeah of course, this post is talking about dwarf seahorses, there are even Giant sea horses. They can range from 5 to 7-8 inches (adult)
