    when did they start making chia pets for tanks...sorry.. That sucks. Man it has been a long time but I think I remember someone blasting it with kalkwaser(don't quote me) and having good luck killing it. I will have to see if I can find the thread but it has been ages.

    yup it was kalk, not sure if I read the thread here but all kinds of hits on google for kalk and hair algae

    Pics? This new hair algae is becoming a hot commodity. I had an outbreak of aes (algae eating snails) and other evil inverts. ;-)
