Check out the new fuge, finally installed!

Hey everybody, I finally made a refugium, I spent last night putting on the last glass panel and today installing the thing. Happy to get it up and running, this is the second time i've tried to put it in, the first time I cracked the end panel because it was too large so I trimmed it back a good 2" and now it fits like a charm.

Nice looking setup but I gotta say I don't care for the bio balls in the chamber on the left, I think you would be better served with just a filter sock and a pile of rubble rock

 

Looks good. You forgot a clamp to the left of the T.

hey thanks for the kind words, I know I missed a few spots for the clamps, I ran out but I will be getting to those shortly . Also, I'm going to get rid of the bio balls once I hit the one year mark but I have about 8 months to go, want the tank to be nice and established before I 86 them.

 

Love the Aquascaping in the DT. Seems like you have a lot of stuff packed into that stand.

 

oh man, yeah, tons of stuff. Today was a perfect day for installing this, we had rain all day here in gainesville, you guys in tampa get rained out too?

 

I expected it to, and basically wrote off all outdoor activities today. It was blowin' like stink and the clouds blocked out the sun all day, but the rain didn't come down until after sundown.
