eBay lights are hit or miss for the most part. Most reefers say "stay away from eBay." Just my 2 cents.

its a oddysea fixture. I think it will work with soft coral, I have one and was using it grow plants but swapped it for my hagen glo one. Personally I think it under drives the bulbs which is why my plant growth is alot better with the glo.

If you have the money I would get another fixture, but I suppose you could use that one until you get a better one since its dirt cheap.

I have reservations about using it with a anemone, based on tank shape and species.

If you want a good budget light go with the nova extreme pro they are good and will get your foot in the door for reef lighting for a lot less then others like ATI.

I agree with Sostoudt, those fixtures usually really under perform compared to other similar systems. Personally, if I had to, I would use it for soft corals only. Keep in mind that soft corals and anemones have vastly different care requirements. If that's what you want, you shouldn't get a light based upon growing soft corals, but based upon keeping an anemone long term.

Cool but expensive. If you don't have one now, you don't NEED the light now. Save up and buy a decent light. Buying crap will just get you into crap later on. Don't skimp on lights.
