    Yeah, there's really two schools of thought in this; you can invest heavily and early and make a total ecosystem, or lightly over time and make it more of a "fish tank".

    I try to test weekly anyways.. but there are other indicators to look for when not testing as much.. ie algae,cyano,polyps not extending,dead fish/inverts.. lol
