Okay, so I'm in the process of getting my 90 gallon put together. This tank has a much longer equipment list than my 37 and I'm just wanting to make sure I've got everything. So if you could check over my list and let me know, I would really appreciate it! :)

    90 gallon tank and stand
    protein skimmer
    overflow box
    reactor, pump and filter media
    sand
    base rock
    lighting fixture
    powerheads
    return pump for sump

    Buying soon:

    20-30 gallon tank for sump
    plumbing for sump
    acrylic baffles for sump
    silicone
    salt
heaters - I'm thinking two, both rated for up to 50 gallons. What are some good brands?
    thermometer

Let me know if there's anything important I'm leaving off the list!

Ahhh yes, I did forget about the silicone. Thank you!

Are the timers just for the lights?

    thermometer?
2 heaters is a good idea , as if one fails the other should prevent a massive temp drop
when using heater thermostats I always liked the Rena brand product found them to be reliable - Titanium heaters with external thermostats are generally felt to be better

heaters - 5 - 7 watts per gallon is a general guideline so for your 90 , 2 x 200 watts may be OK or 2 x 250 watts depending on your ambient / back ground temp

    Thank you!

I'll look into titanium heaters with 250 watts. I keep my house pretty cool, about 68-69 degrees, and I have air conditioning so it never gets above 71 or so in the summer.

I'm a bad influence, what can I say  It's like insurance for your tank, really. You can find them for less expensive used, too.
