Hi, new here, my name is Matt, I am an addict. I'm addicted to my reef tank.

I have a 60 gal petsmart display tank, HOB (POS) Skimmer haha, some live rock, a big ole Cin Tom Clown and a LTA that is his bestest friend in the whole world. I just bought a used wavemaker, hoping to get some more flow going.

My and my girlfriend just went to the Janesville Swap this past weekend and got some color in the tank. I hope to look back at this picture someday and laugh...

My biggest goal right now is to get a sump setup in the closet behind where the display tank is sitting.

Here is a picture, I can't get the skimmer to give me any bubbles/skimate no matter how much I adjust it. grrrrrr

Also, i didn't notice the one rock fell before I took the picture. whoops

    Thanks!
    Matt

    Hey there Matt,

Nice to have met you and your daughter a few days ago.

I see the Devils Hand in the pic- has the poyps come out yet? Donor colony took about two days, and it's all open now again.

Let me know how the overflow is going, I'm more than glad to help with any and all that.

    Welcome to the 3Reef!

    Todd

Thanks everyone! Todd, I still only get a few polyps come out every now and then. They seem to come out, then go in, then some news ones will come out. Then this weekend after the frag swap, we took out some of the big pieces of live rock and chiseled them into smaller workable pieces. He may have gotten stressed when changing the scape around. (That's all I can think of)

Since this picture was taken, the scape changed a bit to deal with some loose rocks that weren't staying where they were told to stay. Also, that big ugly curly q anem is gone, he was trying to snag my new cleaner shrimp. So, see ya!

    Matt

Looks good and happy to say sitting around admiring the tank with some cheese and a beverage is a great way to relax, we do it here often!

    Good Luck
