I have a 55g mixed reef, only a few soft coral at the moment and fish. I have 77lb LR and 110lb LS. I have a 20g sump, skimmer, phosban reactor running phosban media. I also have some Seachem Phosguard in a mesh bag.

I have a small amount of algae that I hope is on it's way out. But I'm not running any kind of carbon media, which is why I was wondering if I should be, and if so which would be the best way to run it.

    Thanks for the replies
